Rebound valved aluminum 1/8 scale RC car shock pistons.
6 hole, Rebound Valve, drilled 1.3mm with rubber O-ring 16mm.
Included in package = 4 pistons, 4 standard O-rings,
20 rebound valves = 4 Green - 25% rebound valves, 4 Yellow - 15% rebound valves, 4 Black - 10% rebound valves, 4 White - 5% rebound valves, and 4 Red - 0% rebound valves.
We recommend only install 1 plastic rebound valve per piston on the top side. We also recommend installing the same 4 percentage rebound valves (25% or 15% or 10% or 5% or 0%) on top of all four shocks pistons to keep a consistent balanced rebound.
These piston valves have been manufactured to the highest tolerances for the serious racers.
Pistons greatly effects the compression and rebound shock stroke. In a shock it is better to have stiffer compression and faster rebound to keep the tire in contact with the ground. That is why we are offering directional valve pistons. One of the things that sets these valve pistons apart from the competition is the ability for you to select the rebound vs compression ratio. This is done simply by installing the desired rebound washer valve. We include 5 types of rebound washers, the thinnest for 25% faster rebound, thin for 15% rebound, medium thickness for 10% faster rebound, thick for 5% rebound and thickest for 0% rebound. The 0% washer valve makes the piston work as a standard traditional 6 hole piston. So whatever your track conditions are, we have you covered!!! Rebound valve pistons works best on high speed loose bumpy European style tracks and for dirt oval racing. We recommend installing 5% or 0% rebound valves for technical smooth hard pack clay tracks, or tracks with a lot of jumps. These pistons have great versatility for the all racers.
